Latitude

So, as I was putting this shit on photobucket, I realised that the first post I ever put on here contained photos from last year's Latitude (where I wore a tutu, ohhhh jeez...) which means that we must have just passed EE's first birthday! Thanks everyone for supporting me throughout the years and, uh, I've never been good at the whole thanking thing, but....yeah :)
I saw a lot of amazing bands (Florence + The Machine, Mumford and Sons, Yeasayer, Darwin Deez, Hockey, The Midnight Beast, etc) but sadly I didn't get any particularly good photos. The best ones were of the Horrors cause the stage was all backlit, meaning they were automatically all artsy :p
Oh and...

yeah, just me and Darwin Deez being moustachey...

You Have Been so Inclined

This drawing is for Olivia of naturegraffiti. Her blog is fantastic and she went to Coachella, of which I am deeply jealous.

It has actually been hot in London recently....

Proof!

I just made a cake, omnonomnomnom.

not only does my whole house smell like baking, but check out this drawing I did for faye of Gibface:

Thank you for all of your requests for drawings! I'm trying to complete them all as soon as possible between cake and Biology coursework. If you want to be drawn, either leave me a comment or email me (if I were you I'd email, it's way less confusing.)

groovy babey.

Spy Who Shagged Me is playing on comedy central. Ugh, it has been far too long since I saw that movie :)
Have a look at my art homework, the theme was dancing/movement so I went for a duplicating/sliced up sorta thing on these photos of Tallulah :)

and in other exciting news, have a look at this vector portrait of Camilla a while back and haven't posted them yet :)

and last but not least, look who figured out how to embed a hype counter! Well I hope so anyways. We'll see how it goes...

Meditations

Lou knows best, guys...

check out the conceptual cupcakes we made and handed out to people on Portobello (:mighty boosh!

I'm starting to think that Simon from Misfits has a sort of Ian Curtis thing going on...

(whilst looking for this picture i found a website called joydivisionsucks.info which made me slightly upset. Angry, angry music snobs...)

shoes I decorated for my friend (:

...and those were some photographic meditations of late.

Wrinkle, wrinkle, little scar

^I just got the Darwin Deez album and it's so fucking epic :) I'm going to see him live at some point in the near future I think :D

Sorry I haven't bloggererd in a while. Last week involved spider man phones and colouring in Scotland, but it was kinda sunny the other day in London so Nicky and I went and took some photos.

I should really just set my aperture to automatic and stop ruining my pictures :p

ahaaah I managed to create a light source :)

oh, and I saw Kick Ass today which was insane, Aaron Johnson and jetpacks in the same movie omg! Not to mention a bunch of other cool stuff too, so, uh, go watch that and buy Darwin Deez's album (forget Lady Gaga I am the product placement queen :p ) and leave me a comment telling me what you thought :)

Getting the Hang of it. Timing is Everything.

To celebrate three-and-a-bit weeks of freedom, Lucy, Bel and I went down to Portobello and took photos and bought three pound sweaters and sang Itchycoo Park at the top of our voices :)

Here are the photos, I have been playing around with white balance lately so tell me what you think :)

(took this of Abbie at school.)

Did anyone else see Banksy's film, Exit Through the Gift Shop? It was fantastic :)
Glasses - Lucy's, poodle cardi - handmade/vintage, grey cradi - Lucy's, Stam-esque bag - street vendor, skirt - Urban Oufitters, Docs.
Have a nice Easter Holiday :)

Taggy McTaggerson

So, whilst I was away, Kiki tagged me for Cassie's Therapy Video which is an extremely interesting blog tag hosted by Erimentha of The Little Blog of Happiness.

The annoying thing is, I couldn't access the video... (Here is the link that I was given, apparently it has been 'blocked in my country' for some reason or another) so I kinda just had to guess what it was about :)

From What I understand, you have to fill in 12 likes, one love and 8 hates, link back to Erimentha and pass it on to three other people. Oh and you must include the bolded things :)

Also, I thought I'd make mine a little more interesting by infusing it with some amazing artwork by Mark Ryden (more about that later :p )

Abracadabra, Wow!
I like boys with winklepickers and girls with winklepickers.

I like food.

I like busy weekends.

I like watching loads of movies back to back.

I like contradicting myself.

I like discovering an amazing cultish band and feeling really clever.
I like having a dorky English accent
because I like being able to say, 'cheers,' 'ta,' 'cripes,' 'top of the morning' and 'cheerio,' without sounding like a COMPLETE freak.

I like llamas.

I like thrifting.

I like your face.

I like most things, really.

I love SLEEPING.

Today I am going to charge my ipod. I must not. Forget. To charge. My ipod.

In some ways, I love everything.
Its less, its less of a thing to like, its less distinct, its less particular.
I like things that I like but I love everything.
There’s more choice in like cos even the worst things have things you love in them.
I don’t know what you mean about things I hate.

I hate when the bottom of your foot is itchy (grr.)

I hate having my photo taken (hah, how hypocritical does that sound! I don't mind seeing photos turn out good, but I hate the process of taking them. It's kinda awkward and false...)

I hate taking my own photos, because I feel vain and scene.

I hate clothes decorated with shitloads of hearts.

I hate broccoli.

I hate fighting. *halo appears*

I hate myspace.

I hate ....honestly I can't think of anything else. I didn't sleep enough last night.

I hate this, wow...

Sorry.

I. Heart. Cassie.

Sorry if my life is incredibly boring. Now I just have to pass it on to...

Fashion Narcotics because it is a new blog and deserves some recognition :)

Tegan on Toast because it seems like the kinda thing she would be good at

High Voltage because it's an awesome blog and hasn't gotten any awards in too long :)

The paintings are by Mark Ryden, an amazing artist who I stumbled upon a few weeks ago. If you liked them, check out his website. There's tons more fantastic stuff in there which would have made this post way too long :)
